The Brief:
As the Bangla Society at Cambridge had recently changed Society President, the client wanted a new logo as he felt that the current one was outdated and needed to visually link closer to the society and what they represent.
Requirements: Shield shaped, include illustrations which represent both Bangladesh and Cambridge.
The selected illustrations for the logo were the Bengal Tiger and the Bridge of Sighs which is located in St John’s College. A dark green, similar to the flag of Bangladesh’s logo has been selected as the key colour of the logo.
The client was provided with Social Media profile and header images as well as a PNG of both iterations of the logo so that the society is able to apply it to any content that they publish.

Early colour schemes presented to the client.
Type-type-typefaces:
The client was presented with a selection of typefaces to be used alongside the logo design. The font selected was Constantia, the regular weight has been applied to the logo and the bold weight has been applied to the Social Media header images.
